Bruce Allen Sensei
Chief Instructor

Bruce began his training in Toronto in 1974 under Kimeda Sensei 9th Dan, Chief Instructor of Aikido Yoshinkai Canada. After eight years study with Kimeda Sensei, and attaining the rank of 2nd Dan, he left his studies of Aikido to pursue a career in finance. In 2007 he returned to his study of Aikido, establishing the Aikido Yoshinkai Edmonton School. Bruce holds the rank of 5th Dan. He credits his recent growth in Aikido to the knowledge gained from teaching his students and to the guidance and encouragement of Shihan, Robert Mustard Sensei, 8th Dan, Chief Instructor of Aikido Yoshinkai Burnaby.

Greg Pun
Senior Instructor

Greg began Yoshinkan Aikido training with T. Kimeda sensei in Toronto 1984-86. Greg had a hiatus when entering law school, but returned to Aikido in 1998 in Vancouver. In 2003-04 Greg attended the Yoshinkan Hombu Dojo for regular training, where he obtained his shodan + 1st instructor licence. He attained 4th dan in 2010 (from I. Watanabe Shihan) and Godan (5th Dan) in 2023 (from R. Mustard Shihan). Greg has taught adults and children (ages 3-13). He runs his own dojo in Vancouver, named “Aishinjuku”, and attends Edmonton Yoshinkan Aikido dojo on a regular basis.

Fab Giuliani

Fab started his martial art experience in competitive Judo during his high school years in Italy . He started practicing Aikido during his university years with Fabrizio Ruta, 6th Dan, Aikikai. After moving to Canada, it took him some time to find the right Aikido school which he eventually found in 2016 when he started practicing Yoshinkan Aikido with Bruce Allen Sensei. In December 2023, Fab was granted the rank of Nidan (2nd Dan) in Yoshinkan Aikido by Robert Mustard Shihan, 8th Dan, Chief Instructor of Aikido Yoshinkai Burnaby.
